Monarch Egg (FIRST sighted)

Date: 05/07/2015

Number: 1

I found the first egg in my yard. It was on the top side of a common milkweed leaf. I did not find any other eggs yet, but I saw a lady Monarch feeding on my flowers so I hope to see many more. I left it there, but I might go back today and pick it up and start raising Monarchs again, as in previous summers. I just did not have time yet, since I found it while mowing and doing yard work. We mowed around the milkweed, of course.
