I spotted an egg while hauling grass clipping. I found 2 eggs on one plant and one more egg about 4 feet way. I picked the leaves and brought them inside. I do this to keep predatory flies from laying eggs on the caterpillars. My 6 year daughter loves watching monarch go from egg the adult and then releasing them.
