Monarch Larva (FIRST sighted)

Date: 06/10/2015

Number: 1

Been checking the tall, almost ready to bloom common milkweed, but no sign of eggs or chew marks. But today, I saw the small chew marks and found my first and only monarch cat about a week old...brought it in to protect it from flies and wasps...female must have snuck by me....it's been a great butterfly and skipper year so far...bring on the monarchs...milkweed is ready!!!!
