Three Monarchs were flying over a mixed grass prairie at the ridgetop we call Swallowtail Hill. The area is a Boulder County Open Space referred to as Southeast Buffer. Amy took one photo and Wynne was away from us taking a different photo. I was further away and saw a third Monarch. They had stopped to nectar on Gaillardia aristata.
