FINALLY! I have had my feeder out since late April (first timer here), and I have been anxiously awaiting my first hummingbird. I made sure to keep my feeder very clean by taking it in every 4-6 days, cleaning it thoroughly and giving it new nectar, and I was starting to lose hope. I finally spotted a female today. She stayed for about 5 minutes then flew off. Hopefully this is only the beginning of many more beautiful hummers to come!
