We were very excited to watch the humpback whales migrating to the North at Avila Beach in San Luis Obispo. Most whales seemed shy, swimming far from the pier. However, this gracious whale decided to spyhop close by, and finally gave us the show we were waiting for. It was an unforgettable experience that we long to repeat every year!
