This is one of many fields I have spotted with just acres of milkweed growing. Mainly white and pink, some kind of purple also. Never knew what those plants were until I started my work with the hummers. Bought my first plant at the nursery a red swamp milkweed. Got free seeds in the mail but I'll have more pods than I could plant for next year here at home. If anyone out there wants pods drop me a line I'll be happy to send them to you. I have pods right now from last year that where still hanging on to their base.
