My first Monarch butterfly of this year was beautiful to see in my milkweed patch. It flew in yesterday afternoon on the 22nd day of June and visited a few plants before flying away. I think it was laying eggs as I spotted some spots that looked like eggs, which I will keep watch on. My milkweeds are full of buds and will be flowering soon.
