Finally, a huge, fresh male Monarch nectaring on Purple Coneflower in my front yard. He was rather skittish and would not let me approach to take his photo.

We have been having storms one after the other, another one is due tomorrow. I'm sure these are not good for the Monarchs, but they sure do make the (milk)weeds grow.
