A female monarch flitted through my yard today. First spotted her nectaring briefly on common milkweed, but spent most of the time just flying all over my yard - front and back and my neighbor's yard (she excitedly came to tell me). She would land on tiny milkweed seedlings on my front porch that I am raising - but did not lay eggs. Was in the area for at least 30 minutes.
