This is the first time I have seen a Monarch in June. The fall 2014 was the first time ever to see a Monarch on our property, where we have lived since 2004. Today's butterfly checked out flowers and then landed about 15 feet up in a tree to rest. I have milkweed and don't know if the Monarch visited it. I also didn't get a look at the wings to see if it is a male or female.
