Observing milkweed plants for seed collection. Saw one monarch larva feeding on the leaf. Observed about 20 plants close up with no other larva seen. Noticed some plants had no pods and there was evidence of feral hog activity. ground torn up and many tracks. wonder if feral hogs are consuming milkweed pods.
