While sitting outside I noticed my first Monarch of the season zipping by (like trying to escape without being noticed!)
I was hoping it was a female! YES!! and I found 2 eggs right away, then 3 more. I keep double checking, no more eggs.
I looked at my notes from 2014 season and had released 43 by this date, so it is a slow start for me!
