Monarch Larva (FIRST sighted)

Date: 07/07/2015

Number: 11

Never saw the adult Monarch nor the eggs, but suddenly I noted Monarch caterpillars in my tropical milkweed. They have eaten some plants down to last leaf, so they have been here awhile. They are fairly large, maybe close to forming a chrysalis. These are 3rd generation I am estimating.

Pawleys Island, SC
