I collected a few eggs 2 weeks ago but hadn't actually seen an adult in the area with my eyes. Last evening at dusk, I spotted a dark Monarch, presumably female because of how dark she was, flying down North Street near a large common milkweed patch. Indeed, 6 eggs today.
