Monarch Egg (FIRST sighted)
Sightings report image

Date: 07/11/2015

Number: 4

How exciting to have my first eggs and it's not even mid-July. I watched the female nectar and deposit eggs for about a half hour and think she left a couple dozen, but so far have found only four. I will keep at it and look for cats, too. I might try captive breeding so there will be a fair number of Methuselahs leaving from Snyder to Mexico. I sure have enough milkweed.
