First Monarch for this year we sighted on our milkweed plants!!!
We've been waiting for this to happen since Spring and the milkweed emerged.
It flew off several times all around our yard, even briefly to our neighbor's yard, but back to our milkweed. Off again around the yard, alighting on bushes next to our screened porch several times.
Then back to the milkweed, where it stayed for at least five minutes or more. Around the yard again onto bushes. We've lost sight of it now.
