On June 29/15 Neighbour on our street (Burnside's Bridge Road)was pulling up plants out by rock at roadside to make a garden. Discussed the milkweed and how important it is. I took the milkweed that she had pulled up back to our house and placed in water thinking that I would try to root/plant them. The next morning I saw a 2nd instar caterpillar on one of the leaves! I kept it and it is became a chrysalis July 11.15
