Saw 4 different adult monarchs in our local Forest Hill Park. The park has planted large swaths of Milkweed and this is where we saw the monarchs. This was my first sighting. Looked at the nature almanac I keep, and this is 7 to 10 days later than usual first sightings.
Have been planting milkweed seeds from the milkweed plants in my garden and giving the seedling to neighbors, encouraging them to plant it as well as certain flowers for nectar.
