I am an environmental educator at the Helen Schuler Nature Centre here in Lethbridge. One of our volunteers was out for a run in Cottonwood Park where he saw a Monarch fluttering about. He had asked me if I could report his sighting for him. Unfortunately he did not have a camera with him at the time.

This was a first sighting. Another volunteer saw another one in the same area about a week ago which I will report when I have the details.
