Woo hoo! My first female monarch of the season!
I was out trimming the dill I have set up for the eastern black swallowtails and noticed her feeding on some of the nectar plants I have.
Right after that she began laying eggs on many of the milkweed.
I scooped up over 16 eggs before they were attached by the many insects in my garden. I have more than enough milkweed for all 16 and then some.
