We have lots of Milkweed growing, and a Butterfly Bush in bloom, but have only seen one Monarch in our yard this summer. We saw our second one, a large adult, flying across our yard today.

We used to have lots of them; I taught a Monarch Cycle unit for years. So sad that they are diminishing.
