Monarch feeding on my Liatris blazing star. This was my first sighting of the year. I spoke with some neighbors a few weeks ago and at that time they hadn't seen any yet either. If this is out of the ordinary, perhaps it's simply that they hadn't found my garden yet this year...I have various nectar plants and three kinds of milkweed. But this was my first and only sighting this year.
