I released 116 healthy monarchs with one chrysalis left. Most if not all of the third generation's eggs were viable. But this next generation (the 4th) is different. Some eggs are not hatching and a couple eggs turned completely black and never opened. Those eggs were quarantined but never made it. I'm finding good numbers though wherever I go and currently have a total of 125 eggs and caterpillars.
