One adult female Monarch observed for a half hour in my yard. First sighted among milkweed foliage, then flew into an oak tree and sunned quietly for awhile. Changed perch a couple of times, occasionally opened wings. I am wondering if this was a newly emerged adult drying wings. Had caterpillars earlier in the month.
