Sighted 3 monarchs today, only one could be positively identified as a female. They were nectaring on butterfly bushes and also on asclepias tuberosa in our backyard.

Also saw 2 separate female black swallowtails and 2 separate eastern tiger swallowtails. The first time to see either of them this year. The black swallowtails laid a total of 8 eggs on our parsley.
