Finally a Monarch in my backyard way station(Lackner/Fairway). The female looked in good shape, wings intact and colour was bright. She nectared for an hour and laid eggs on two types of milkweed. The day was a mix of sun and cloudy periods, humid with steady winds. I hope she will return with friends. Oh, she just flew by the window.
