First orioles arrived at our two orange feeders. During May, June and July we saw multiple males, as many as four males at one time. There was some confrontation going on occasionally.
The end of June and beginning of July there was a feeding frenzy going on and we went through 6 large jars of grape jelly. The young orioles came to the feeders also, sometimes feeding themselves, other times waiting for the parents to put the jelly in their beaks.
We were able to count 4 young orioles at one time at the feeders.
