Another afternoon sighting in our backyard for about two hours. Two Monarchs again today, sometimes flying around together, other times seeing just one at a time. Don't know if it is the same or different Monarchs from previous days.
We have about 40 milkweed plants for the first time this year, and have never seen Monarchs day after day like this, in one summer. Before this year, I believe the most we saw was two Monarchs the whole summer, although we previously had zinnias, butterfly bushes.
Could the milkweed be making the big difference?
