The Monarch made its appearance during the Sierra Club's Off-grid Sustainable Living Network tour.
It appeared to be freshly transformed, working the Butterfly Weed (A. tuberosa) in the ever-expanding milkweek patches at the Broadwell Hill Monarch Waystation.
