Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 07/27/2015

Number: 2

First Monarch of the day sighted about 11:15 a.m. It was in our backyard flying between our yard and a neighbor's yard until after 6:p.m. It was joined by another Monarch about 5:30 and briefly, we saw 3 Monarchs around 6:00p.m.
They settle briefly on the milkweed, sometimes on our flowers, briefly up in the trees, but mostly flying from one place to another. A lot of energy is being expended. For almost a week we have had Monarchs every day. Is it likely to be the same Monarchs hanging around our yard? Are they different Monarchs passing through still on their way North?
