Monarch flying around our yard and neighbor's for about 6 hours today. Same pattern of past week, flying most of the time, landing briefly on milkweed, flowers and trees, disappearing briefly, then back again. Is this typical behavior?
Previous years we had just a few milkweed plants, this year about 40. This is also the most butterflies we have had in the yard for the longest period of time each day. Is it the milkweed?
