A male monarch was seen nectaring for several minutes on the Mexican Sunflower [Tithonia var. Torch], along with 3 swallowtails, for several minutes in the Virginia Living Museum's Children's Learning Garden.
In this area of coastal SE Virginia,he can be either the grandfather or the father of the migrating generation.
