A female monarch butterfly was sighted nectaring on the Mexican Sunflower [Tithonia, variety Torch] in the Children's Learning Garden about 10:15 am this morning at the Virginia Living Museum while I was weeding the garden. A male was reported to you yesterday doing the same thing about the same time, so I hope they find each other!!! They will be the parents or grandparents of our local migrating generation here in SE Coastal Virginia.
