This was the first caterpillar that I have seen on my milkweed this year, although we have had a lot of Monarch activity in our yard. It was on the underside of the milkweed leaf. I went back to find it again about four hours later, but it is gone from the leaf it was on. I looked on other plants nearby, but cannot find it again.
