There have been very few monarch around this summer. Never see more than one at a time. I have not seen a caterpillar since early this summer. A few more females showing up lately and visiting all the milkweed plants around orchard. Even saw one today in the middle of a large wooded area 10 mile east of here. See looked to be laying eggs on the milkweeds in a small (100 ft X 100)opening in the woods.
