I have 2 Monarchs that have been sticking around the past month. I planted milkweed and noticed cats, but they kept disappearing or I would find them dead. So, I ordered a butterfly cage and am now raising the cats in the cage on milkweed. So far, I have 7 cats of various sizes. Have had problems with spiders, stink bugs, flies killing the cats. Saw my first Monarch migration last fall and got hooked! I hope I can add to the migration by protecting these cats! I don't know whether the 2 Monarchs are both female or a pair. They're too flighty to get close to.
