I cycled around 35 kilometers from Port Dover and another 35 back. On my trip, I sighted around 10 monarchs, each flying individually.

In Port Dover, I found 3 monarch eggs. I have brought them in my sailboat for rearing since the milkweeds where I found them are full of ants. I will wait until they pupate and once the chrysalides harden, I will tie these on to a tree, near the butterfly garden.
