I spotted this female monarch in the garden this evening. She looks very new by her dark colors. I had a male and a female in the garden today. This monarch is nectaring on a Mexican sunflower. When I saw her I just figured it was the male that I have been seeing daily. She also was nectaring on the zinnia and the Joe Pye Weed.
