Today 8/10/15 at aroung 2:00pm Mountain Standard Time, this butterfly flitted around my house to the back patio where i have 5 non-native milkweed plants in pots that i bought spring 2014. it went to one, lit on the budding flowers, went down the stem and back up to the flowers where it sat for a minute or so. luckily I got a photo first.

Editor's Note: This butterfly is a queen, a close relative of the monarch.
