Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 08/10/2015

Number: 3

Observed on sedum-Autumn Joy at 2pm -have good picture and verifies Monarch. Have seen others earlier but just found your web site today. Last year had many including "flocks" around and in our pre-1900 windbreak- somewhat newer trees of course but old ones in air and on ground. We have 180 acres with multiple creeks, wet land, pasture, wooded and grassy areas as well as corn and soy beans. We have common milkweed everywhere in the areas listed above and also in our flower beds. We also have swamp milkweed in our damp areas. Our bees and butterflies (many besides monarchs ) love our asters, cone flowers, phlox, bee balm, blacked susan, coreopsis, etc.Your ID booklet on monarch is great! Look forward to future contact with you. Will watch for eggs with help from site...other clues? Thanks for your important work! (sorry don't know if do jpeg on our apple computer)
