Hummingbird Sighting (Adult Male)

Date: 08/08/2015

Number: 4

In the past week or so I have noticed I consistantly have four mature males, and a mix of females and juveniles of about 6. Our area is in drought conditions and no flowers are blooming, even yards are dying. It is unusual for me to have this many at this time of the year, I am assuming it is the extreme temps of 100*+ and no rain in about five weeks. I hope others are being diligent about keeping feeders clean in this extreme heat (I change and clean my daily). The past two years I have seen my last hummingbird about the first week of November.
