While leaving the hospital in Peoria, and walking across the concrete jungle toward the parking deck, a monarch crossed my path, and went toward a few flowers at the base of a hedge about 100 feet from me. I turned to see where it could have come from and about 150 behind and to my left, was a small patch of low growing yellow flowers.
