Monarch (OTHER Observations)

Date: 08/10/2015

Number: 3

I work at the Scottsbluff National Monument. First I spotted 1 just off the highway near the Monument, while working along the Platte River on Owl Rd., later that morning I spotted 2 entwined while flying. On Tuesday the 11th while there I spotted 3 more and 1 more at the Monument along side the pic-nic area. The milkweed grows all along Owl Rd. and around the visitor's center of the Monument. It is going into a second bloom as summer progresses. I also see 1 to 3 each week I travel to Agate Fossil Beds N.M. the milkweed population there is very high.
