Every day this week there has been at least one female visiting my A.syrica patch. Today there were 2 females in sight at once. All have been fluttering from leaf to leaf and appear to be laying eggs. However when I examine the leaf minutes after she leaves, I usually do not find eggs. There are lots of aphids and some flies that look like the ones I sometimes find dropping out of a crysalis. Milkweed beetles and ladybugs too, but only 6 eggs all week after at least 55leaf visits.
