Finally seeing Monarchs on Swamp Milkweed in my backyard! But now I am being told by someone that these pre-migrants actually migrate even though they are obviously reproductive since they are laying eggs on the leafs. My understanding was that the pre-migrants are finishing off their life cycle and will die like all the previous reproductive generations of Monarchs. HELP!
