I haven't posted since the second, but have seen hummingbirds at the feeders, hummers defending their territory, and some hanging out on branches. This morning I was surprised to see one sitting high on the electrical wires. I know I have at least a male and female , but there are juveniles too. How many? I have no idea. Its been 100+ degrees in the area. I went to commercially bought nectar because I think it lasts a tad bit longer in very hot conditions. I notice they did not drink as much this week.
As I was typing this post, a plump hummer visited the feeder. This bird was much fatter than the one I saw earlier this morning.
