Adult Monarch seen nectaring on Marigolds and other flowers.
Was not able to determine the gender of the Monarch but as with my sighting last week, I didn't find eggs on the swamp milkweed plant in the same garden bed. I had planted the milkweed in July and it is not in bloom and is suffering from inadequate water. This was my fourth sighting of a Monarch in this garden in the past weeks....see previous reports.
