Number: 1

A tattered beauty showed up yesterday and nectared for a long time on Tropical Milkweed. After she left I went out and found one egg. She came back this morning and was ovipositing low on the Swamp Milkweed when a toad came out of nowhere and grabbed her, but let go quickly as I guess he didn't like her flavor. She flew off and I haven't seen her since, which is sad. On a bright note I managed to find two more eggs.
