Monarchs started arriving early this morning and saw them throughout the late afternoon. They were on buddleia bushes and also saw a few females in the milkweed, apparently laying eggs. Our male resident monarch (Romeo) was also a busy guy again here today, mating with at least 2 females and he stayed patrolling until about 7:30 p:m.
